iPhone 17 Pro Max photography shooting test

In this review I take the iPhone 17 Pro Max and put it through its paces as a photography shooting camera.

Shooting in 24mm, 100mm and 200mm in many test shots. Watch the video and you’ll see all the different zoom ranges and comparisons.

Started out during the day and shot into the evening. So you can see the quality as the light starts to go down. How the quality starts to go down.

I shot a mixture of JPEG, RAW and ProRAW.

I was surprised to see how good the JPEGs are. They were excellent. I did a little bit of minor editing to the images in Apple’s Photometer program.

I compared the JPEGs to the ProRAW and even show some of the RAW. I wouldn’t recommend shooting in the RAW setting. The ProRAW is much better.

For shooting I used the Reeflex camera app that gives you quite a bit more control over your settings.

Two sample images. The first one is at 200mm. The second one is at 100mm.
