Las Vegas at night with the Nikon 1 J5

The Nikon 1 J5 fits in my top pocket and is a great little cameras to take with you on the go so i took the Nikon 1 J5 with me for a walk on the Vegas strip at night. My Nikon 1 J5 had the Nikon 10mm 2.8 lens mounted on it for this night of shooting.

After finding a place to park we started our long walk up and down the Las Vegas strip at night shooting.

The Nikon 1 J5 did a good job but many times I wished I had my D500 with me for some cleaner high iso shooting but the small size and easy use the Nikon 1 J5 did a decent job. I can just drop it in my pocket and walk around we even stopped and ate and the J5 stayed in my pocket safe tucked away.

Using the J5s back screen for framing up the shot at night is very easy. I shot at iso 800 and most at iso 1600 all raw files edited in Lightroom.

I started shooting just before dark so the large gallery included some images shot before dark as well.
