Reeflex 240mm Cell Phone Lens Shooting Video

In this video I tested the Reeflex 240mm add-on cell phone lens on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

I took the full setup to a local festival that went on over multiple days that had many bands playing on different stages. I shot video of eight different bands. Some during the day, on into the evening, and on into the late into the night.

I tested shooting the native cell phone lens at 200mm compared to shooting the native lens at 100mm and adding the reflex lens that gives you basically 200mm. But when using the Reeflex lens and you’re in the 100mm cell phone setting, you’re no longer getting the sensor cropping that you get from the cell phone when it’s shooting at 200mm. And this gives you much better focusing. And with the Reeflex 240mm lens on, you get better contrast, sharpness, and even better white balance.

I did a lot of testing also shooting with the cell phone in the 200mm setting and when you use the Reeflex 240 lens you’re now getting approximately 400mm. A very good zoom range for such a small device that you can carry around in your pocket.
